A Mistake

Don't make mistakes. We are trying to be perfect, right? Mistakes are bad. I was talking to my sister-in-law last night about something. We understood each other and we were able to talk openly about our feelings on the situation. She told me that I didn't need to feel bad about what happened. Even though it didn't turn out the best, I was able to learn from it. It made me think about our life experiences. We come here to learn and grow. My favorite thing about our religion is the idea that it dosen't matter if we aren't perfect. As long as we constantly try to become better and grow, then we are doing well. It takes off this pressure of perfectionism that I can carry sometimes. I don't mean to be a perfectionist. I just try to be perfect unintentionally. Then I realize that all I can do is my best. Even if I make a mistake, the important thing is if I can learn from my mistake and become better from it.

My idea of this blog is not to encourage mistakes. Don't live your life trying to come with up fun mistakes to make just because you learn from them. I was talking to a friend one time and he told me that "Life is about making mistakes so we know what not to do". I thought to myself "Life is about learning from our mistakes and trying to prevent them through good decision making". We have this eraser available to us. It won't automatically erase for us. We have to work hard in order to erase our mistake. We have to be sincerely ready and forgive in order to the eraser to work. Just because we have a eraser available dosen't mean we can make a mistake knowing that we can be forgiven. Because of the eraser, we can work hard to be forgiven and learn from that mistake. We can prevent in the future. We can become better. We can help others understand the consequences from the mistake.

Our life experiences are here to help us and others. I feel like we are given unique circumstances in order to share with others in a certain time. I have talked to people and they had said something I needed to hear in a specific moment in my life. They have gone through that specific experience so I could have comfort and realize the solution in order to fix my problem. Our life is not coincidence. There is a definite plan; we may not know it now. We can find out that plan. I just know that this idea gives my comfort to know that my hard times are here for a reason. So I can grow and so I can help my friend grow when she needs to hear my advice.
