7. Looking at bright green dresses with black and yellow and pink dots....those would be interesting.
6. Counting all the sheep in my dream...this one I actually would want to do.
5. Traveling to Elko, Nevada
4. Boxing
3. Watching Rocky V, actually I have yet to see that one.
2. Cleaning my bathroom.
1. Patting my head while rubbing my stomach while carving a ice sculpture with a ice sculptor in my mouth.

Basically, this shows I have no desire to study. Please send me motivation if you can. My grades may suffer this semester.

Intangible Things

Last night I was thinking about how Disney calls merchandise "tangible memories". I thought it was stupid how they changed the name, but then It made me think about the tangible and intangible things in our lives. There are so many tangible things that we give value to. Its all about me.

I am currently taking a class called LDS Perspectives and Psychology. I have a good feeling about this class. Number one, we don't have final exams. We only have papers. Number two, I love his teaching style. I just love how his main objective is to make us think instead of think only with the textbook's point of view. I think the hardest thing about teaching is encouraging students to think but giving students textbooks to think. Think outside the textbook! This teacher makes you do that. We had a good discussion about altruism in the classroom. I have always heard about altruism and thought about being 100% altruistic. Is it possible to do everything for everyone else? A lot of theorist say that you do things for yourself but have altruistic moments. Is that true? I kinda believe that. Only Christ has had the power to do everything for everyone else on this earth. Learning to Let Go

Yes, that is my lesson that I have been learning the last couple of months. Update on my life: I postponed my mission. I feel really good about my decision. I was planning on leaving to the MTC on July 31st. The best way to explain my decision is that life changes and curve balls are thrown at you. It was a very confusing time of my life as I was deciding whether or not to postpone my mission, but I made sure that I was making the right decision. I want to go back to school and continue my "career" or pathway to a career. I want to be a social worker and feel like I can serve God with my career. So, I am staying home. I have a testimony of the church and I respect all the missionaires serving right now. If I was 19, I would have a different outlook as a missionary. At this time, I feel like I should be spending my time in other areas of my life. And it is important to realize that sisters are not commanded to serve a full time mission.
